Foreign man criticized for bad behaviour at Songkran party (video)
A TikTok user shared a video of an incident involving a foreign man displaying inappropriate behaviour during the Songkran festival in Thailand.
The man is accused of deliberately splashing water on women’s faces and chests during the Thai New Year celebration, then smiling with satisfaction. He allegedly also spat at people and threw ice yesterday, April 15.
In the video, the man, wearing a white shirt and a hat, is seen standing near a water container with a glass in hand. As a woman approaches, he throws water forcefully at her face, causing her to react with shock.
This behaviour was reportedly repeated with several women, many of whom were upset by his excessive actions and nearly retaliated.
The TikTok user, @yupapanbenz, criticised the man’s actions, stating that he continued to misbehave until his water supply was exhausted, even spitting into the container before leaving. The incident sparked significant online criticism, with many condemning the man’s lack of manners and respect, KhoaSod reported.

At around 8.30pm, yesterday, April 15, Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Rescue Unit received an emergency call reporting an assault on a foreign man in Pattaya Second Road, Nongprue, Bang Lamung district. Rescue volunteers and Pattaya City Police rushed to the scene.
