When the emergency services arrived at the scene, they were met with a harrowing sight: the lifeless body of Sirisak Ngamsiri, a well-respected teacher, lying on the road, with his motorcycle tragically submerged beneath the bridge’s waters.

A close friend and fellow teacher revealed that Sirisak had spent the evening at a retirement party for a government officer, which was held at a local restaurant in the Laem Chabang area. The grim suspicion is that Sirisak, who was usually a cautious rider, may have been driving at high speed, losing control of his motorcycle as he hurtled around a curve and smashed into the bridge railing, said his friend.

“He was always careful on the road, but it seems like speed might have been an unfortunate factor this time.”

The police have since ordered the transfer of Sirisak’s body to Bang Lamung Hospital, where it will remain until his grieving family arrives to claim him for the necessary religious ceremonies, Pattaya News reported.

This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with mourners grappling to come to terms with the sudden loss of a beloved educator.
