Perverted teacher sacked after sending video of underage sex acts to school chat group
A perverted teacher who had sex with underage children in Nakhon Ratchasima and accidentally sent videos of the acts to a group chat has been sacked while a police investigation is underway. The teacher allegedly tried to commit suicide when the news broke.
The unnamed arts teacher at Non Sungsritani Secondary School in Non Sung district in Nakhon Ratchasima, Isaan, is being investigated after videos of him engaging in sexual acts with female students were widely shared on social media after he accidentally sent them to a school group chat.
The director of the Nakhon Ratchasima Office of Secondary Education, Sawat Luecha, revealed that videos of the male teacher having sex with students were posted on social media on Sunday, January 15.
“A committee has been set up to investigate a teacher for an alleged serious breach of discipline. The teacher has been temporarily dismissed pending the outcome.
“The school and parents of the abused girls will be filing complaints with the police.
“Another committee has been set up to investigate the director of the school and determine whether what happened arose from neglect of duty on his part, causing damage to the school’s reputation.”
The sex clips have caused consternation among residents in the Non Sung district. It is reported that approximately 10 girls were affected by the actions of the teacher.
Following the revelation of the scandal, the teacher became stressed and attempted suicide by stabbing himself. He was taken to Non Sung Hospital by neighbours and later moved to Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital in Muang district, where he remains under treatment.
He not only taught music but also formed close relationships with his students, particularly during after-school lessons, where he engaged in sexual relationships with some of them.
Non Sung Police Superintendent Pol Col Sanchai Pisaiphan told Thai media that none of the victims’ parents had filed complaints against the teacher at the moment.
Pol Col Sanchai added that police could investigate the teacher for alleged sexual offences against students, as shown in the videos posted on social media.
The age of consent in Thailand is 15 but an improper relationship between a teacher and a student can result in a criminal conviction, imprisonment, and financial penalties. Even if the relationship is consensual, an improper sexual act between teacher and student is illegal.
