Ms. Ashley will be leading the session, reading three stories about ambition, equality, and resilience. These include Amelia Bedelia 4 Mayor!, where everyone’s favourite, overly literal housekeeper decides to run for office; Ambitious Girl by Meena Harris, which is all about chasing big dreams no matter what anyone says; and Marie Curie (Little People, Big Dreams), the true story of a woman who wasn’t allowed to go to university but went on to win a Nobel Prize.

How about celebrating International Women’s Day in Bangkok with all of your girlfriends and celebrate your sisterhood? Pullman Bangkok King Power is making International Women’s Day a full-on celebration.
The Woman Active City Run (for hotel guests only) from 7am to 9am is a great excuse to get moving. It’s a great way to start the morning with energy and purpose, moving through the city alongside like-minded women.

There are three activities you can participate in. The first one, at 10am, is Sound Bath by Embodhi (from the Sound of Santi crew). It’s basically an hour of deep relaxation with soothing vibrations. At 2pm, Colorsayyoo is hosting a Personal Colour Analysis session, which helps you figure out which shades suit you best, so no more guessing whether that mustard yellow sweater actually works for you.

Women Changemakers: International Women’s Day Fair 2025 invites you to support women-led businesses and sustainability this Saturday.
The lineup is solid. The curated market (11am to 6pm) is full of ethical brands run by women, so you can browse everything from handmade fashion to sustainable skincare. Talks and panels run at the same time, covering sustainability, ethical fashion, and how to fix broken food systems. There’ll be workshops on upcycling, conscious living, and possibly even a few unexpected topics.
If you want to fuel up before exploring, come early at 7am for breakfast specials. And when it’s all winding down, there’s a networking session from 6pm to 8pm, a.k.a drinks with smart, interesting people who care about the same things you do.
