Siam Paragon reaffirms its position as a ‘global destination’, one of the top-of-mind destinations among Thais and international tourists from all over the world, is set to celebrate Chinese New Year 2023 to welcome the Year of the golden Rabbit with a grand celebration “Siam Paragon the Grand Celebration of Golden Prosperity 2023,” which will take place from 20-29 January, 2023.

The event highlights an exquisite dance performance from China named “Zhi Shi Qing Lu” (只此青绿) which means “Indigo Green Mountains” and a blessing golden dragon and lion dance. Visitors can also worship a replica of the Tian Tan Buddha statue from Hong Kong in the ambiance of Ngong Ping Cultural Village and famous Thai fortune-teller specializing in Chinese astrology and feng shui master will share luck advice plus a gathering of over 43 top fortune tellers and astrologers to have the fortune read for the Year of the Rabbit.

“Zhi Shi Qing Lu” (Indigo Green Mountain) dance show

Celebrate the spectacular Lunar New Year in the heart of Bangkok with three amazing highlights from Siam Paragon. The first highlight is “Siam Paragon the Grand Celebration of Golden Prosperity 2023,” which features a dance show by the legendary Dingyi Dance Troupe (鼎艺舞蹈艺术团) from China’s Guangdong Province called “Zhi Shi Qing Lu” (Indigo Green Mountain) which features the elegance of women’s dancing movements.

This ensemble has been invited to perform at major national events, including the National Television Station CCTV’s New Year’s Eve celebration. This show will be held at Parc Paragon of Siam Paragon from January 20 – 22, 2023, stage twice a day, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

From 20-23 January 2023, Parc Paragon will feature performances by Thai and international superstars. Admission is free. On January 20, 2023 will be Patchrapa ‘Aum’ Chaichua and Nattawin ‘Apo’ Wattanagitiphat, who will be wearing exquisite jewelry sets from Blue River worth more than 98 million baht. On January 21, meet and greet the duo Thanawat ‘Bom’ Uthaikitwanit and Atiwat ‘Tar’ Saengtien, On January 22, meet Krit ‘PP’ Amnuaydechkorn and Metawin ‘Win’ Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, On January 23, meet the top global boy band WayV, with the presence of KUN, XIAOJUN, HENDERY, YANG YANG and TEN, traveling straight to meet their Thai fans exclusively for this event.

The grand opening will be staged on January 20 at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon (for invited guests and media only).

The replica of the Tian Tan Buddha from Ngong Ping, Hong Kong, is the second highlight. Master Katha Chinabunchorn, a prominent Thai fortuneteller, traveled to Hong Kong to respectfully conduct an invitation ceremony so that the replica may be present in Bangkok for worshipers to pay tribute and pray for blessings. The surrounding area of the event also set in the ambiance of Ngong Ping Cultural Village.

A limited number of consecrated mementos that have passed the ritual from Hong Kong will be given out to visitors for auspiciousness. Simply provide receipts for a minimum 1,000-baht purchase from participating retailers and services at Siam Paragon. Famed fortunetellers and Chinese Feng Shui masters, including Katha Chinbanchorn, famous astrology Pennueng Wongphudorn and Toktak A4 will also provide recommendations for the Year of the Rabbit between 20-24 January 2023 at Fashion Hall, 1 floor, Siam Paragon.

The Siriwattana Cheshire Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen is gathering 43 renowned fortunetellers and astrologers from 16-22 January to showcase the finest of Chinese prophecy and a variety of astrology in the event “Siri Wattana Fortune-telling Week For The Disabled” at Crystal Court, 2 floor, Siam Paragon.
