PEANUTS x IPPUDO: A first-ever collaboration to celebrate 75 iconic years
Do you love eating Japanese ramen noodles in Thailand? Do you also happen to be a huge fan of the PEANUTS franchise? If that’s the case, I believe I have the biggest news for you. IPPUDO is proudly presenting their first-ever collaboration with the global phenomenon that is PEANUTS which includes famous characters such as Charlie Brown and Snoopy himself.
This collaboration combines the brand identities of IPPUDO and PEANUTS to launch a limited edition collection of merchandising celebrating 75 years of the iconic comic brand that you can get for yourself. However, this is not the only thing that IPPUDO has to offer you as they have updated their menu to bring you new premiums that you must taste.

The merchandising that is offered by this collaboration includes combining the brands of IPPUDO and PEANUTS together to create pieces that are identifiable but don’t stand out too much, which makes it nice to wear them on casual occasions.

Having tried it out myself, it is comfortable and fits me at least and this is something I can see myself wearing on more casual occasions or at home. I’m sure you will find a use for it too but it is a nice and exclusive piece of merchandising that will only attract the right amount of attention if you are a bit shy.
Exclusive menu at IPPUDO
The merchandising offered at IPPUDO from this collaboration with PEANUTS is not the only exciting thing though. IPPUDO has also added new exclusive items to their menu.
What’s being offered on their premium menu are:
- Premium Australian Roast Beef Ramen – A rich, umami-packed shoyu broth topped with tender roast beef, silky truffle-infused egg custard, and crispy fried burdock.
- Flavorful rice bowl set: Roast Beef Rice Bowl – Sliced Australian roast beef drizzled in their signature sweet-savoury teriyaki sauce, paired with a spicy takana topping for the perfect balance of heat and flavour.
This menu will be available from March 18 to June 4 of this year and will be available exclusively at these branches at:

Why you should eat at IPPUDO
The exclusive menu and the limited-edition merchandising are not the only good things to come out of IPPUDO. The food at IPPUDO aims to be as authentically Japanese as possible while adapting to international tastes at the same time. What I mean by this is that by looking at the menu they offer, they either offer the best quality and taste out of Japan or combine elements of food from other countries to enhance a dish.
One big example I can give is their Spicy Miso Mountain. Based on a dish that is also eaten in Japan, the Spicy Miso Mountain appeals more towards Thais (and those who are in Thailand) as it touches upon their love for eating spicy. It is a Jiro ramen style in miso soup based on spicy minced pork, drizzled garlic chilli vegetables and seasoned tempura flakes. This seasonal dish is both a challenge and an option for those who love spice (although, no worries, it shouldn’t be tongue-scorching).
If that is not reason enough, You will find that they also have the award-winning New York Bun which won accolades in its place of origin, the New York branch of Ippudo. This bun is composed of fluffy buns, juicy pork belly slices, a special sauce, and some mayonnaise inside.
Having tasted it, I can see why it got awarded. It is really delicious and to put it in a strange kind of way, it’s reminiscent of a hamburger in bun form. This goes back to what I mentioned where IPPUDO tries to be authentic but adapts to the international clientele.
All in all, if it wasn’t for these, the ramen and food at IPPUDO would be as delicious as it get and will fill you up.
