Pyjama drama: Woman caught stealing a motorbike in her PJs in Pattaya”
A security camera captured a woman, dressed in pyjamas, stealing a motorbike from a Pattaya home. The incident gained attention due to the peculiar choice of attire by the thief.
A CCTV camera at a house in Pattaya recorded a tall and plump woman strolling in front of the property around 10pm yesterday. The woman then snuck into the house and made off with a white Honda Scoopy I motorbike owned by Chaiya Sisamarn, a 32 year old Thai house owner.
Chaiya filed a report at the Pattaya Police Station. He told local news sources that he typically locked his motorbike’s handlebar but unfortunately forgot to do so on the day of the incident.
Police received the CCTV footage from the victim and are currently investigating the case. It is unclear at this time whether the woman in the pyjamas is a first-time offender or has been involved in similar incidents previously. The case has sparked concern among residents who are now being urged to take necessary precautions to safeguard their belongings.
Pattaya has seen a rise in petty theft in recent months, prompting authorities to step up their efforts to combat this type of crime. In response, more CCTV cameras have been installed in the area and additional police patrols have been deployed to deter criminals.
The motorbike theft case highlights the need for residents to remain vigilant and ensure that their belongings are secure. Valuables should be stored in locked rooms or safes, and motorbikes and vehicles should be parked in well-lit areas and secured with locks or alarms.
Whilst the criminals behind these thefts might not always be dressed as conspicuously as the pyjama-clad woman captured in the security footage, residents must report any suspicious activity to the local police. This information can greatly assist law enforcement in their efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible for thefts in the area.
