A gun-toting Thai man caused alarm at a bustling Moo Krata restaurant in Pattaya after firing a shot during a heated dispute. The incident took place outside the Moo Krata Baek Kap Din Sam restaurant on Petchtrakul Road at approximately 4.06am on October 30. Witnesses reported that the man aimed his weapon at a group of men before making a swift getaway in a black van.
Initial reports suggested there was an injured individual but this claim was later dismissed. Following a thorough investigation, Pattaya police swiftly identified the suspect. Although his name has not been disclosed, he was brought in for questioning.
During the interrogation, he admitted to the act but insisted that he had used a blank gun, not a real one. The suspect surrendered the weapon to the police, who are now examining it to verify his statement, reported The Pattaya News.
