In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, the Sergeant Thomas Oliver Ahlberg Memorial American Legion Post TH02 in Pattaya recently recognised the dedicated efforts of the Royal Thai Police at Soi 9 station.

The commendation came in the form of certificates of appreciation, acknowledging the tireless work of the police officers in assisting American citizens and contributing to the welfare of the Pattaya community.

The Sergeant Thomas Oliver Ahlberg Memorial American Legion Post TH02, in particular, sought to honour those often on the Front Lines of Soi 9. These officers routinely assist a myriad of tourists, including a significant number of Americans, navigating through a spectrum of problems, inquiries, and concerns.

The Pattaya News team was present at the award ceremony, capturing the delight and appreciation mirrored on the faces of the Pattaya Police officers. Their roles, often overlooked and underappreciated, require consistent dedication and effort. The officers, despite their busy schedules due to a police event for tourists and the presence of many high-ranking police officials, deeply appreciated the recognition, reported Pattaya News.
