A customer in a bar has been attacked in Pattaya.

CCTV footage shows the moment an Australia thug launched a shocking and apparently unprovoked attack on the man. As the customer was walking out of the bar the assailant gets up and whacks the man over the head with a bottle.

The attacker has been identified as a 48 year old Scottish born Australian, Alan William Toner. He can be seen walking behind the victim as he attempts to leave the bar.

ThaiVisa reports that Toner then smashes the bottle over the victim’s head, who then falls to the ground landing on the sidewalk outside the bar. Staff and other customers rush to help the unconscious man.

The footage has only surfaced now after being shared on social media but the incident reportedly happened in a bar in Pattaya last month.

It is believed that the attacker, Toner, was arrested and is currently in jail awaiting a court hearing.
