Tomboy twins flee Pathum Thani after fatally stabbing Burmese man

Police are searching for Burmese tomboy twins who fatally stabbed a Burmese man outside an apartment in the central province of Pathum Thani on Sunday. The motive for the murder remains unknown.

Officers from Lam Luk Ka Police Station investigated the fatal stabbing outside an apartment in the Lam Luk Ka district of Pathum Thani at around 7pm on Sunday, March 16. The Burmese victim, Hein Mintun, was found in a tragic condition with two major stab wounds to his chest and stomach, leaving his intestines exposed.

The owner of the apartment provided CCTV footage of the incident to the police. The footage showed Hein Mintun speaking with two tomboys outside the accommodation. Approximately five minutes later, the tomboys physically assaulted him before one of them repeatedly stabbed the victim.

Hein Mintun attempted to flee from the attackers to seek help but succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The two tomboys were seen escaping on a motorcycle, a black and white Yamaha Fino. The registration plate remains under investigation.

Police suspected that the motive for the murder may be related to a debt issue but they have yet to find sufficient evidence to support this theory.

Channel 8 interviewed Hein Mintun’s roommate about the incident. The roommate was also unaware of the motive for the fatal attack.

On the day of the incident, he was cooking with Hein Mintun before the victim received a phone call and mentioned meeting friends.

Shortly after, the roommate heard his friend scream for help. Rushing to check, he was shocked to find severe wounds on Hein Mintun’s body.

The tomboy attackers were identified as twins named Mo and Khun. They had previously worked with the victim at a chicken factory in the province before Hein Mintun resigned and took up employment at an aluminium factory.

Friends of Hein Mintun told the media that they had previously seen the three of them fishing together. Colleagues from the chicken factory also reported that the trio had been close and never witnessed any arguments between them.

Police are continuing their efforts to track the tomboy twins by reviewing security camera footage from the routes they used to flee the scene.
