New airport bus service to Pattaya and Hua Hin

Travellers can now enjoy a first-class bus service from Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports to Pattaya and Hua Hin, starting March 8, operated by State-run Transport Co.
Managing Director Atthawit Rakchamroon announced that the service will offer comfort and convenience for both tourists and locals.
Four daily round trips will run between Don Mueang and Pattaya, covering 162 kilometres in two-and-a-half hours for 155 baht per trip.
For those heading to Hua Hin from Don Mueang, two round trips daily will cover 216 kilometres in three-and-a-half hours, with a fare of 200 baht each way.
Passengers flying into Suvarnabhumi can take four daily round trips to Pattaya, covering 127 kilometres in two hours for 122 baht.

Atthawit confirmed that tickets will be available in both airport terminals, ensuring easy access for arriving passengers, reported Bangkok Post.
With affordable fares and direct routes, the new service is set to transform airport transfers, making travel to Pattaya and Hua Hin easier than ever.
In similar news, for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted travel, Thailand and Cambodia resumed cross-border bus services, reconnecting Bangkok with Phnom Penh and Siem Reap on Friday, November 29 last year. After more than three years of suspension, travellers can once again enjoy a seamless journey between these two countries.
The relaunch follows an agreement signed on November 26 between Atthawit Rakchamroon, Acting Managing Director of Thailand’s Transport Co., and Suo Vireak, CEO of Cambodia’s leading bus operator, Vireak Buntham Express Co. The two companies will operate services on two key routes, both passing through the Aranyaprathet checkpoint in Sa Kaeo province.
The first route will link Bangkok and Phnom Penh, while the second will connect Bangkok with Siem Reap, home to the world-famous Angkor Wat temple complex. Officials highlighted the importance of the reopening, emphasising its role in boosting tourism as both countries enter the high season.
