Fast food lovers are celebrating as select KFC branches revert to their original cutlery, ending a long period of grumbling over the new Sporks.

The Sporks, an innovation combining a spoon and fork in one utensil, had been widely criticised, with people longing for the return of the traditional separate spoon and fork.

Recently, the Facebook page Na Phraek – Daeng Snan announced the good news that the old plastic spoons and forks of old are back at some KFC branches. No longer will customers have to struggle with the cumbersome Sporks, which were more tiring than useful.

The post gave a much-needed boost to the spirits of KFC fans, who flooded the comments section expressing their relief and sharing their frustrations with the Sporks.

However, the joy may be short-lived for some, as it appears that not all branches have made the switch back to traditional cutlery. This has led to a flood of tweets under the hashtag #ReturnTheSpoonsFromKFC, as netizens continue to voice their dissatisfaction with the Sporks.

“This innovation has caused problems for consumers.”

“It’s useless. I ended up using my hands to eat.”

“My hands are much more efficient.”

Despite the outpouring of relief, it remains to be seen whether the traditional cutlery will make a return in all KFC branches, or whether customers will have to continue to endure the Sporks. Regardless, the saga has sparked a lively discussion among fast food lovers, proving once again the importance of listening to customer feedback in the industry, reported KhaoSod.
