At least 2 police students allegedly sexually assaulted by instructor
A student at the Royal Police Cadet Academy (RPCA) in Sam Phran district in the central province of Nakhon Pathom sought justice after allegedly being sexually assaulted by a male instructor and his police officer friend on the academy premises.
Facebook pages Big Kren and Moon Rabbit V5 reported that the RPCA shared details of the alleged assault, which occurred between 10.30am on November 16 and 1am on November 17. The incident reportedly took place after the student completed his night guard duty.
The student disclosed that the instructor and his friend, believed to be a police officer, arrived at the academy in a red Mazda sedan. The instructor allegedly ordered the student to meet him at the rugby field after his duty, a command the student felt compelled to obey due to the instructor’s seniority.
Upon arriving at the field, the two suspects allegedly forced the student to consume excessive amounts of alcohol. They then reportedly ordered him to undress and masturbate in front of them.
The student suspected that the two might have videoed him naked but he could not confirm this as he was ordered to close his eyes. He noted that a bright flash heightened his suspicions.
The student recounted that he was heavily intoxicated and unable to climax. The two suspects allegedly resorted to performing a sexual act on him but were still unsuccessful in achieving their aim. They eventually decided to escort him back to his accommodation.
Investigation continues
On reaching his accommodation, the suspects reportedly changed their plans upon spotting security guards nearby. Instead, they dropped him off some distance away, forcing him to walk unsteadily back due to his inebriated state.
The guards questioned the student about his condition, but he was too afraid to report the incident, fearing punishment from the instructor. He also believed he might not be the only victim of the suspects.
Following the viral news story, RPCA Deputy Commander Sakrapee Priaopanich addressed the allegations. He confirmed that another student came forward, claiming to be the victim of the same suspects.
However, Sakrapee stated that the identities of the suspects had not yet been confirmed, and it was unclear whether they were indeed the instructor and the alleged police officer.
As the victims are adults, Sakrapee said the academy would allow them to decide whether to pursue legal action.
The Commander of the Royal Thai Police (RTP), Kittirat Phanphet, informed Thai OBS that he instructed the RPCA commander to investigate the matter thoroughly. He vowed to take decisive action against the suspects, promising strict penalties for those found guilty.
