A Thai woman filed a complaint against a Thai man claiming to be a politician for secretly filming and attempting to blackmail her by threatening to release explicit videos of the couple after she rejected his advances.

The victim, 26 year old Kittinan, filed a complaint against the man, named Arm, at Mueang Udon Thani Police Station in the Isaan province of Udon Thani. Kittinan revealed that she had met Arm on social media and talked to him for a while before meeting him in person.

Kittinan explained that she knew Arm liked her and wanted to be her boyfriend but she had no romantic feelings towards him. Arm tried to move their relationship forward but Kittinan wanted to cool the relationship.

After being rejected for a week, Arm created a fake Facebook account showing explicit videos of the pair having sex. Kittinan revealed the conversation to Channel 3.

Arm: “Check it out. Watch it for fun. I have more.”

Kittinan: “I can’t believe you would do this to me. You hid a camera in my room?”

Arm: “I can’t help it. What are you going to do now?”

Kittinan: “You installed the camera in my room. You have always done this to me.”

Arm: “Yes, I filmed you every time we had sex. Do you want me to show it to everyone?”

Kittinan: “What? Not every time we had sex. I have never taken my clothes off in front of you like in the video. You must have left a camera in my room! Or did you edit it?”

Arm: “Do you think I edited it? I have more videos, in case you didn’t know.”

Extortion and threats

Kittinan said Arm demanded 5,000 baht from her to delete all the videos. Arm claimed that he did not want money but wanted to teach her a lesson for providing false hope to men like him.

Kittinan said she told him she did not have 5,000 baht and offered 2,000 baht. She was worried that Arm would not keep his promise to delete the videos, so she decided to file a complaint with the police.

Kittinan added that Arm told her he was a politician and would be able to escape any charges she filed against him. She did not know whether the statement was true or not but hoped that the police would provide justice.

Kittinan left a message for Arm during the Channel 3 interview.

“Stop doing this. You are not a gentleman at all. I can’t feel you that way. I don’t love you. Don’t do this to me.”
