TMD warns of flash floods as monsoon rains sweep Thailand
Stormy skies and rough seas forecast across multiple Thai regions

Thailand is in for a soggy 24 hours as monsoon conditions sweep across the country, bringing thundershowers, gusty winds, and rough seas. The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued warnings for flash flooding, stormy seas and travel disruptions.
The monsoon trough has now shifted to lie across central and eastern Thailand, while the southwest monsoon continues to prevail over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. These combined systems are bringing unstable weather conditions throughout the kingdom.
