The Meteorological Department of Thailand (TMD) today revealed that temperatures across the kingdom are set to rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, with cool conditions persisting in the morning. However, heavy rains and floods are still prevalent in the southern region.

As of 5am today, the Thailand weather forecast for the next 24 hours indicates a decline in the strength of the cold air mass covering Thailand, leading to a rise in temperatures by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, along with morning fog.

In the northern, northeastern, and central regions, as well as Bangkok and its vicinity, the eastern region, and the upper southern region, cool weather continues in the morning. Thai residents are urged to maintain their health amidst the changing weather conditions, to be cautious of potential fire hazards due to the dry weather, and to exercise caution when travelling in foggy areas.

Today’s weather conditions in Thailand, as warned by the TMD, include heavy monsoon rains in the south, rising temperatures in the upper part of Thailand, and a sudden surge in temperatures in Bangkok. The city is submerged at 17 points and dangerously high levels of dust exceed the standard, especially in Nong Khaem.
