ICONSIAM’s 5th anniversary: solar-powered Christmas illumination

ICONSIAM, a global landmark on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, is internationally recognized as a significant global attraction and a must-visit destination for travellers from all over the world. ICONSIAM celebrates its 5th anniversary and highlights its success as a Global Destination with the event “ICONSIAM UNRIVALED WORLD OF BANGKOK ILLUMINATION 2023,” from November 1 until January 5, 2024 at River Park, G Floor, ICONSIAM. This year’s event features a 20-meter-high Christmas tree on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The tree catches everyone’s attention with Thai-patterned light decorations that feature entwined Thai patterns and seasonal motifs. In addition, the Christmas tree is decorated with multi-coloured lights powered by solar energy. This event highlights ICONSIAM’s importance as a global icon along the Chao Phraya River, which is a major tourist destination for travellers from all over the world.

The event, “ICONSIAM UNRIVALED WORLD OF BANGKOK ILLUMINATION 2023,” is part of the Vijit Chao Phraya 2023 initiative, which aims to create a stunning light display along the Chao Phraya River in December 2023. The event, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in collaboration with public and private partners, showcases the cultural diversity along the Chao Phraya River’s charming curves, passing through the iconic Wat Arun and significant landmarks for all tourists to visit.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of a Christmas tree over 20 meters high at the “ICONSIAM UNRIVALED WORLD OF BANGKOK ILLUMINATION 2023” event, an annual illuminated festival along the picturesque banks of the Chao Phraya River. Celebrate ICONSIAM’s 5th anniversary and welcome the joyous atmosphere of Christmas and the New Year from November 1 until January 5, 2024, at River Park (G Floor), ICONSIAM Park (2nd Floor) and the connection to the BTS Gold Line (M Floor), ICONSIAM.
