Man arrested for naked stroll in Samut Prakan village
A 25 year old man from Pathum Thani was apprehended for wandering around a village in Samut Prakan late at night without any clothes on. Footage from CCTV cameras captured his actions. He confessed to doing so out of excitement and recklessness.
The incident occurred in a village in Bang Kaeo, Bang Phli, Samut Prakan, where residents reported seeing a naked man roaming around. CCTV footage confirmed the sightings. The local police, from Bang Kaeo Police Station, reviewed the surveillance footage and discovered that the man had left a dormitory at the end of Soi Premruthai 22, where he stripped off his clothes.
Police investigations revealed that the man was seen leaving a dormitory in Moo 15, Bang Kaeo, Bang Phli at 1.34am on Sunday, December 1. The dormitory owner identified the man as a 25 year old resident named A, from Pathum Thani.
Later, around 8.10pm, the investigative team staked out the dormitory area and eventually found A. Upon his encounter with the police, he admitted to being the person seen in the CCTV footage. He was then escorted to Bang Kaeo Police Station for questioning, reported KhaoSod.
“I did it because I was excited and reckless, without realising the consequences.”
A background check revealed no prior criminal record. Following his confession, he was handed over to the investigators for further legal proceedings.
