3 new Covid-19 cases in quarantine, all asymptomatic

3 new Covid-19 cases were detected in quarantine, all asymptomatic, according to the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration. Thailand’s total number of confirmed Covid-19 is now at 3,746 with 3,551 recoveries and 59 deaths. 136 people are currently receiving medical treatment for the coronavirus.

  • 53 year old British engineer travelling from Qatar tested positive for Covid-19 while in an alternative state quarantine hotel in Bangkok. He arrived on October 21 and tested positive for the virus 3 days later.
  • A 20 year old United States Embassy employee who flew in from Qatar on October 23 tested positive for the virus 2 days later while quarantined at a hotel in Bangkok.
  • A 19 year old Sudanese medical student travelling from the United Arab Emirates tested positive for Covid-19 on October 24, shortly after arrival while quarantined at a Bangkok hotel.
