A fiery family feud erupted in the early hours in Pattaya, escalating into a shocking stabbing incident that left both a young man and his intoxicated stepfather injured. The altercation kicked off at around 2.06am, today, November 27, in a residence on Soi Yensabai, sparking a frenzy of emergency response.

Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Centre received an urgent call that sent rescue workers, Pattaya police, and local media scrambling to the scene. There, they found 19 year old Aditep Thepsupha nursing a nasty stab wound to his right leg, while his stepfather, known only as Jok, sported a gash on his left wrist.

First responders rushed to provide medical care before whisking both men off to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Jok, however, soon found himself in police custody, potentially facing legal action for his boozy antics.

The drama didn’t go unnoticed. An eyewitness, a young woman aged 18 only identified as A, shed light on the showdown to reporters. She revealed that Aditep, her boyfriend, clashed with her stepdad over some personal beef. Things spiralled when Jok, fuelled by alcohol, grabbed a knife, wounding both Aditep and himself. In a panic, she called for help.

Kanitha, Jok’s long-suffering wife, offered her perspective, hinting that her husband’s drinking habit was the spark that ignited the fiery row. Although she wasn’t at the scene during the knife clash, she recalls hearing the heated exchange before stumbling upon the bloodied aftermath.

This volatile family saga has left a neighbourhood rattled and spotlighted the dangers lurking behind closed doors. The police investigation is ongoing as they untangle this domestic drama.
