Two Thais become millionaires in 60 million baht lottery win

The latest lottery draw has turned two people into millionaires with a total prize of 60 million baht. A 48 million baht prize went to one winner, while the other claimed 12 million baht.
Phanawat “Nott” Nakwisut, CEO of Lottery Plus, selected the winning tickets, drawing gratitude from the winners. The announcement was made at 4pm yesterday, March 16, following the Thai Government Lottery Office‘s release of the winning numbers for the draw dated March 16.

The announcement event, organised by Phanawat, featured famous actor Ko Tee Aramboy and over 60 Lottery Plus customers as witnesses to assure buyers of receiving complete lottery tickets.
Amongst the excited and disappointed, Phanthawat personally congratulated the winners from Lottery Plus. This draw resulted in customers winning the first prize with 10 tickets, totalling 60 million baht (US$1.78 million).
From these, a resident of Nakhon Si Thammarat won 48 million baht (US$.42 million) with eight tickets, while a Sakaeo resident won 12 million baht (US$356,160) with two tickets, reported KhaoSod.
Nachin, the winner from Sakaeo who received 12 million baht, revealed that he did not purchase the tickets himself; Phanthawat chose them for him, thanking him for the fortune. Meanwhile, Khun Ti, the 48 million baht winner from Nakhon Si Thammarat, expressed immense joy at being one of the fortunate winners.
