The wife of a Thai engineer admitted to cheating on him with a volunteer rescuer in Chon Buri adding that her husband’s busy work schedule, abuses and the fact he couldn’t satisfy her sexual needs forced her into the affair. The alleged scarlet woman’s side of the story also contradicted her husband’s words.

A 42 year old engineer, Sam, reached out to social media influencer, Guntouch “Gun” Pongpaiboonwet, to help him seek justice after his 20 year old wife, Gift, had an affair with a 21 year old rescuer, named Em. Em and his friend then came to his house and threatened Sam.

Sam revealed during a press conference that he caught Gift and Em having sex in a rescue van. He added that he had been taking good care of his wife and gave her a 20,000 baht allowance every month. Despite that, she betrayed him many times. Sam expressed his intention to take legal action against both his wife and her lover.

Gift later came forward to defend herself during an interview with Amarin TV yesterday, July 31. Gift admitted that she had an affair with Em and met her lover for the first time on July 9 at her aunt’s grocery store in Chon Buri.

Em later contacted her via Facebook. She admitted that she had feelings for him because Sam did not have time to take care of her in the bedroom. Gift said she arranged meetings with Em many times but never engaged in any sexual activities until the day their relationship was discovered.

However, Gift insisted that she only provided oral sex to Em and did not go beyond that. She felt sorry for what she had done, issued an apology to her husband, and sought another chance to make things better. Her husband forgave her but she did not know why he decided to take legal action against her.

Contradictory story

Gift revealed that she did not leave Sam’s home as he claimed, he chased her and her child away. As a result, she returned to live with her aunt.

She also disclosed that Sam did not provide the 20,000 baht per month that he had promised. Instead, he only gave her 2,000 to 3,000 baht each month, forcing her to occasionally borrow money from her aunt. Despite this, Gift was able to support herself through work at her aunt’s grocery store and by selling products online.

Gift further disclosed that Sam was abusive, particularly when he was drunk. He would physically assault her and exhibit violent behaviour in front of their child as well as his child from a previous relationship.

In addition, Gift defended Em and his friends, asserting that they did not come to Sam’s home to incite violence. They were there to retrieve a walkie-talkie and documents that were in her possession.

Gift stated that she wished to divorce Sam and acknowledged her wrongdoing, adding that she would allow him to sue her for adultery, recognising that it was within his rights.

ORIGINAL STORY: Love and lies: Thai man turns to influencer after wife’s affair with rescuer

A Thai man in Chon Buri sought protection from social media influencer Guntouch “Gun” Pongpaiboonwet after catching his wife having sex with her “darling” lover, a volunteer rescuer. The Thai man, christened “that bastard” by his girlfriend, later faced violent threats from her lover and his friends.

The 42 year old engineer, identified only as A, held a press conference with Gun today, July 31, to reveal his story to the public. He revealed that he had been in a relationship with his 20 year old wife for three years and married her a year ago. They did not have a child together but his wife had a kid with her ex-husband.

A explained that his wife refused to have sex with him. He later learned from his stepchild that his wife was having an affair with another man, the 21 year old volunteer rescuer.

On July 24, A decided to track his wife using her mobile phone’s GPS and found that she was at a football field in the Sriracha district of Chon Buri. He rushed to the scene and spotted a rescue van there. All the curtains on the vehicle’s windows were closed.

A was confident that his wife was in the vehicle, so he forced the door open and found his wife and her lover engaging in sexual activity. In anger, he kicked the lover in the face, breaking his nose. A said that his wife had even left her child playing alone while she had sex with the lover.

A took his wife and the child back home to address the issue. He revealed that this was not the first time his wife cheated on him. While he was talking with his wife at home, the lover and his rescue volunteer friends arrived outside his house.

“That bastard”

They reportedly dared A to come out and fight them but A did not accept their challenge. He called officers from Laem Chabang Police Station to the scene to defuse the situation. He was worried about his safety and has lived in fear ever since then.

“I took the best care of my wife. I gave her 20,000 baht per month and even bought a car for her, but she betrayed me. She called her lover ‘papa’ and ‘darling,’ while she called me ‘that bastard.’ Her lover threatened to hurt me. I’m scared as they have come to my home once before.

“Now, I’m at home alone because my wife and her child have moved out to live with her mother. We will never return to the relationship and I want to sue both her and her lover.”

Gun told the media that he would contact the provincial governor to further investigate the case because the lover and his friends behaved inappropriately, even though they were volunteer rescuers. He would also follow up on the case with Laem Chabang Police Station.
