Webjet and AirAsia have joined forces again, promising Aussie travellers unbeatable fares to Asia’s hottest destinations.

The partnership aims to offer customers a broader range of choices and price points, adding hundreds of new flight options to popular destinations like Bali, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok via AirAsia, AirAsiaX, Thai AirAsia X, and AirAsia Indonesia.

To celebrate this renewed alliance, Webjet and AirAsia are launching a massive Asia sale from May 20 to June 2. David Galt, CEO of Webjet OTA stated that as consumers focus on finding great value for all their purchases, Webjet is more dedicated than ever before to offering Aussies the best range of flight deals.

“The relaunch of our partnership with AirAsia underscores this dedication, ensuring convenient access to some of the most competitive fares for destinations experiencing a notable surge in demand for flights. For example, we’ve seen an increase in interest to the beloved Aussie hotspot Bali, especially from Perth, as well as searches and bookings to Thailand continuing to rise.”

Paul Carroll, Chief Commercial Officer at AirAsia Group, added that with four airlines in the AirAsia Group now flying to and from Australia for the first time, the airline offers more value and choice than ever before for guests, reported Business Insider.

“We connect to over 130 destinations across Asia and beyond – including Aussie favourites like India, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. It’s an opportune time to relaunch our partnership with Webjet, as we continue to consider further expanding our services in the near future.”

Benyamin Ismail, CEO of AirAsia X, expressed his excitement.

“We have enjoyed a strong partnership in the past and it is great to be back on sale on Australia’s leading online travel agency. We know price, value, and connectivity are core for our Australian guests who love our great value fares on medium-haul routes to Asia and beyond.

“This includes Premium Flatbeds, which offer business-class comfort for a fraction of the price and now include lounge access in Sydney and Melbourne. AirAsia X has significant growth plans, and Webjet’s support will go a long way in serving one of our most important markets.”
