The Thai mall arrest of a 29 year old pervert who attempted to secretly film a woman in a bathroom at a prominent shopping mall, has been arrested by the Thai Metropolitan Police. The pervert, identified as Phongsit Lumna, from Roi Et province, who was captured in Don Hualor, Chon Buri, has a history of criminal activity, ranging from burglary and attempted rape.

Senior Colonel Thiti Saengsawang, the head of the Metropolitan Police, together with Lieutenant Colonel Nopphasil Poolswat, Deputy Head, Lieutenant Colonel Theeradet Thamsuthee, Division Director, Captain Thanakorn Onthongkam, Division 4 Deputy Director, and Major Phatra Boonaraksa, the Investigation Group’s Assistant Director, coordinated the arrest. The accused was captured on the aforementioned date at a village in Don Hualor, Chon Buri following a tip-off.

This Thai mall arrest stems from an incident where the voyeuristic Phongsit was caught filming a woman in a bathroom at a popular shopping mall on the Thonburi side. He followed her around the mall, intrigued by her looks, and ended up in the women’s bathroom, where he reportedly filmed her using his phone from an adjacent bathroom. The victim noticed the phone and screamed for help, causing Phongsit to flee the scene.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the degenerate had a criminal history. He was previously charged with burglary via a passageway created without consent on June 27 last year by the Mueang Yasothon Police Station and with attempted rape on June 7 by Nong Khang Phlu Police Station.
