Woman arrested for explicit content in public, earned 1 million baht
Thai police today apprehended a 24 year old woman for producing explicit sex content in public places such as convenience stores and shopping centre car parks, earning over 1 million baht (US$27,500). She confessed, and evidence was seized for further investigation.
Police officers from the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) today, July 10, executed a search warrant at a residence in Ladprao 101, Khlong Chan Subdistrict, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok, following a tip-off regarding a well-known Twitter or X account.
The account, boasting over 100,000 followers across various platforms, was known for content featuring a young woman exposing her chest and lower body in public spaces to attract attention.
Upon searching the premises, the officers identified 24 year old Kanokorn as the homeowner. Kanokorn admitted to being the woman appearing in the explicit content. The police confiscated one mobile phone and four outfits used in the production of the material. Kanokorn was taken into custody for questioning.
Kanokorn confessed to owning the account and producing the explicit content shown in the videos. The videos were filmed in a convenience store on Ladprao 101 in early April. Although she has since deleted these images and clips, she revealed that the videos where she disrobed in a car park were filmed at a well-known shopping centre in Bang Kapi between April and May, reported KhaoSod.
She was formally charged with distributing pornographic media and disseminating or forwarding computer data that was obscene and accessible to the public. Kanokorn, along with the seized evidence, was handed over to the investigators of the TCSD for legal proceedings.
In related news, Thai police apprehended a transgender OnlyFans content creator accused of luring minors into producing explicit videos, generating a substantial monthly income. The arrest followed a detailed investigation into child pornography on social media platforms.
Police officers from the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division, directed by Police Major General Saruti Kwangsopa, executed the arrest warrant for 27 year old Patipat at his residence in Chachoengsao. The Criminal Court issued the warrant on July 1.
