Lampang and Phayao men arrested for running porn group
Police uncover illegal operation, leading to arrests of two men

Police yesterday arrested two men from Lampang and Phayao, administrators of a secret online porn group named Boarding V.4, for distributing explicit content to increase engagement. The group, with over 500,000 followers, also advertised online gambling websites.
Police Major General Witthaya Sriprasertphap, head of the Investigation Bureau, yesterday, May 7, ordered the arrest of 31 year old Pongsakorn and 30 year old Sittisak on charges of introducing obscene content into computer systems and distributing pornographic images and videos.
The arrests were made at Pongsakorn’s residence in Mueang district, Lampang province, and Sittisak’s home in Chiang Kham district, Phayao province. Confiscated items included one PC, three mobile phones, and three bank account books.
Initially, police discovered the Telegram group Boarding V.4 sharing voyeuristic and non-consensual pornographic clips and covertly advertising online gambling websites. Undercover investigations revealed that the administrators were Pongsakorn and Sittisak.
Subsequent searches, backed by court orders, uncovered numerous pornographic video files hidden in computer hard drives and mobile phones, along with several bank account books, which were seized as evidence.
During questioning, the suspects confessed to being administrators of several pornographic pages and secret online groups across platforms like VK, Telegram, and Facebook, managing over 14 groups with a combined following of more than 500,000 people, reported KhaoSod.
They admitted to purchasing most of the shared clips from other secret groups to boost their following and increase engagement, ultimately profiting through online gambling advertisements. Both suspects were handed over to investigators at Mueang Lampang and Chiang Kham police stations for further legal proceedings.

In similar news, the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) in Nonthaburi held a press conference, revealing the arrest of a fruit vendor involved in distributing child pornography for profit.
Police Lieutenant General Trirong Phiwphan, along with other senior officers, explained how their investigation led to the capture of 32 year old Thammasorn, a fruit seller from Chon Buri, who was allegedly running covert groups on social media to share illicit content.
