A mother in China faced an unexpected expense when her young daughter cut another customer’s hair at a hair salon, resulting in a hefty compensation fee.

The incident occurred at a hair salon in Guangdong province, China. A mother brought her young daughter along to the salon and while the mother was waiting for her turn, chaos suddenly erupted.

Her daughter had picked up a pair of scissors and attempted to mimic the hairstylist by cutting another customer’s hair. By the time the customer and the staff realised what was happening, it was too late; a significant portion of the customer’s hair had already been cut.

The customer demanded compensation for the damage. The hairdresser estimated the cost of hair extensions at 11,500 yuan (approximately 52,000 baht). The mother had no choice but to pay the compensation and decided she would never bring her daughter to the salon again, reported KhaoSod.
