A Thai woman was found dead alongside her sister’s husband and their two young daughters in their Costessey family home near Norwich, in the United Kingdom.

The woman, 36 year old Kanticha Noon arrived in the UK on December 27 last year for a family visit, staying at the residence with her sister Nanthaka’s family. The gruesome discovery of their lifeless bodies occurred on Friday, January 19, with Kanticha’s friend Naty Wathanakul revealing the devastating impact on the children’s mother, who was at work during the incident.

Wathanakul revealed that Kanticha had been due to return home next month but the visit took a tragic turn with police investigating the stabbing deaths of Kanticha, Kuczynski, and the two girls, aged seven and 12.

Wathanakul described the deceased as a caring and kind-hearted person.

“She loved her nieces. She is a single woman, no boyfriend, no husband, that’s why she spent most of her time with those lovely girls.”

The friend disclosed that Kuczynski had been grappling with mental health issues and was unemployed. Kanticha, on the other hand, ran a clothing business called Malishopuk with her sister, showing a close bond between the siblings.

The police response has come under scrutiny due to a delay in dispatching officers to the property. Chief Constable Paul Sandford expressed condolences and reassured the public of a thorough investigation.

“I know the family and the public will rightly want to know whether there was an ability to prevent this tragedy, and this is a question that must be answered.”

The tragedy has left the community in shock, with floral tributes and heartfelt messages placed near the crime scene. Headteacher Matthew Cross and Dr Roger Harris jointly offered support for pupils and staff affected by the devastating incident, reported the Daily Mail

Post-mortem examinations revealed that 45 year old Kuczynski died from a stab wound to the neck, while Kanticha succumbed to multiple stab wounds. The examinations for the two girls are scheduled for tomorrow, January 24. Detectives assert that no one else is suspected in the incident.
