To gain entry into this exclusive academic arena, candidates must hail from a spectrum of professional backgrounds encompassing 16 distinct categories. This includes a gamut ranging from parliamentary figures, political executives, and judicial stalwarts to captains of industry, media mavens, and artistic luminaries. Age parameters, varying between 40 and 65, hinge on the nature of their profession.

Notably, the latest class also welcomes a cadre of parliamentarians from diverse political factions. Among them are stalwarts like Chadapha Sintuprai and Pachara Chantararuangthong of the ruling Pheu Thai Party, alongside Move Forward Party’s Karunpol Thiensuwan, Suphanat Minchaiynunt, Paramee Waijongcharoen, and Manop Khiriphuwadol. Democrat MP Saksit Khaothong, scion of the party’s secretary-general, Dech-it Khaothong, also joins their ranks, reported The Nation.

The corporate echelons contribute their share of luminaries, with Charlee Balmongkol from Thai Oil Plc and Cherdchai Boonchoochauy from PTT Plc stepping into the hallowed halls of KPI’s academic domain.

In related news, PM Srettha is set for a whirlwind diplomatic tour, spanning France, Italy, and Japan, to bolster international ties and attract investment to Thailand. The Thai PM’s diplomatic agenda is packed to the brim as he gears up for his second official voyage to France on May 15 to 16, followed by visits to Italy and Japan from May 17 to 24.

In other news, the untimely demise of political activist Netiporn Sanesangkhom sparked outrage and drew sharp attention to the justice system’s handling of detainees. PM Srettha, expressing profound sorrow, conveyed his condolences to Netiporn’s family.
