Renowned French seer Nostradamus predicted a catastrophic tsunami in 2024, a prophecy that has sparked widespread online discussion following the recent tsunami in Japan yesterday. Nostradamus, who lived five centuries ago, penned his predictions in a book of 942 poems, foreseeing major global events with uncanny accuracy, including World War II, the 9/11 attacks, and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Famous news anchor Nippon Nawanun Bumrungpruek shared Nostradamus’ prediction for 2024, which foretells a massive tsunami wreaking havoc on agricultural lands, followed by severe drought and significant flooding, reported KhaoSod. This year is predicted to be marked by severe environmental destruction.

The recent earthquake in Japan, measuring a powerful 7.6 magnitude, caused the first wave of the predicted tsunami, prompting the embassy to issue warnings to Thai individuals in seven Japanese provinces about the potential for a high-level, 5-metre tsunami.

Another prediction shared by Nostradamus indicates that China will rise as a global superpower and face maritime conflict, which some have interpreted as potential tension between China and Taiwan. The prediction refers to the enemy of the red exhibiting fear, and a great ocean appearing dreadful due to the damage from the Japanese earthquake.

Further prophecies suggest the world will see a new Pope, and an intriguing prediction that has caught analysts’ attention suggests the king of the island will be replaced by one without the royal mark. This is interpreted by some as potentially referring to Prince Charles III relinquishing his royal duties and the possible succession by Prince Harry.

In 2022, Nostradamus accurately predicted the demise of Queen Elizabeth. As the world faces the reality of these predictions, online audiences continue to share and discuss Nostradamus’ prophecies for 2024.
