Fireworks spark devastating blaze at Bang Saen Beach restaurant

Tourists experienced a terrifying countdown escape as fireworks ignited a blaze at a popular restaurant on Bang Saen Beach. Debris from the fireworks landed on the restaurant’s roof, causing a fire that destroyed the establishment in the early hours of today, January 1.

Police from Saen Suk Station, Chon Buri province, received a report of a fire at a restaurant located on Wonnapha Beach, along Bang Saen Beach Road, Saen Suk subdistrict, Mueang district, Chon Buri province. Eight fire trucks from Saen Suk Municipality and neighbouring areas were dispatched to extinguish the blaze.

Upon arrival, the fire was found to be aggressively consuming the famous restaurant. The structure’s thatched roof and wooden decorations provided ample fuel for the fire, intensifying its spread.

Firefighters worked tirelessly, taking over 30 minutes to bring the flames under control. Despite their efforts, the restaurant suffered extensive damage from the fire.
