Teenage boy at large after filming Thai woman in condo bathroom

A Thai woman called for a swifter investigation by police after a teenage boy filmed her in a condominium bathroom in Bangkok. The case has made no progress after eight months.
The victim, identified only as Jane, contacted news agencies in a plea for justice after her complaint remained unresolved for over eight months. The incident occurred at a luxury condominium in the Silom area of Bangkok. Jane believes the suspect was between 14 and 15 years old and was not a Thai national.
Jane explained that she finished swimming and was showering in a communal bathroom in a shared facility for residents on the 27th floor of her condominium. While showering, she noticed suspicious movement outside the bathroom and decided to investigate through the gap under the door.
What she saw left her in shock. A teenage boy was recording her with his mobile phone. Upon being discovered, he quickly fled the bathroom, but Jane managed to intercept him outside.
She recorded video footage of the boy, who was wearing a red shirt and long trousers, as evidence. The young suspect feigned innocence and slowly walked away from the communal area.

Jane later obtained CCTV footage from condominium staff and submitted it to officers at Yannawa Police Station when filing her complaint.
In the footage, the teenage suspect can be seen entering the building and using a freight lift at the rear to access the 27th floor. He appeared to be familiar with the building’s entrances, exits, and layout, leading Jane to suspect she was not his first victim.

As a social media influencer, Jane shared the incident online. Some netizens claimed the boy was not Thai and may have entered the condominium with delivery workers or technicians.

Speaking to Channel 7, Jane said she believed the boy continued similar criminal acts at other condominiums or public bathrooms. She suspects he may be profiting from the explicit videos by selling them to individuals or posting them on certain platforms.
Jane urged police to take the matter seriously to prevent others from becoming victims.
