Repeat offender caught filming in football field bathroom in Nonthaburi

A security guard at a football field in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok caught a Thai man on Sunday recording videos of naked soccer players while they were showering. No legal action was taken.
The 35 year old security team leader, Hammueyoh Awae, shared a video of the moment he caught the suspect in the football field’s bathroom on his Facebook account on Sunday, March 2. The video was later deleted after the matter was discussed.
According to a report on the Mor Kao Online Facebook page, one of the football players was showering after finishing a game when he noticed a mobile phone being pointed into his cubicle. He rushed out to report the incident to Hammueyoh.
The security guard then entered the bathroom and found the suspect in a toilet cubicle next to the victim. Hammueyoh requested to check the suspect’s phone and discovered a large number of explicit videos of men on the device.
The suspect admitted to recording the videos for his personal pleasure and claimed he did not sell them. The security guard ordered him to delete all the videos, both of the victim and others if he wished to avoid legal consequences.

The suspect complied with the guard’s demand and was later released. No legal action was taken, as the victim insisted he did not want to complicate the matter.
Hammueyoh explained that the football field is located near a petrol station, where he previously saw the same man acting suspiciously.
He witnessed him arriving at night in a Toyota Vios sedan, shining a flashlight at parked cars, and attempting to open their doors.

On that occasion, Hammueyoh attempted to apprehend the man, but he managed to escape.
Media reports indicated that the suspect had a history of secretly filming in the bathrooms of a football field in Chon Buri. In that case, he posed as a police officer to enter a bathroom and secretly install a hidden camera.
As no victims have pursued legal action against him, there is a danger the suspect may continue his criminal activities in other public bathrooms.
