The incident involved an Isuzu six-wheeled truck registered in Chon Buri, loaded with parcels from a renowned company. The front of the truck was severely damaged, and the road was littered with scattered packages.

Inside the truck, police found the lifeless body of 29 year old Wirachad, who had been compressed by the wreckage. The driver of the 18-wheeler, 34 year old Anon, was transporting eucalyptus logs with a truck registered in Chachoengsao. Emergency personnel had to use hydraulic cutting tools to extract Wirachad’s body from the vehicle.

Anon recounted that he had loaded the eucalyptus logs from Ban Khlong Ta Muen, Nadi district, Prachinburi province, and was en route to a factory in Tha Tum subdistrict when the collision occurred. He described how the six-wheeled truck crashed into his vehicle without any attempt to brake, leading to Wirachad’s death, reported KhaoSod.

The six-wheeled truck was transporting parcels from Buriram province to be sorted in Chon Buri province. It is unclear whether Wirachad fell asleep at the wheel or failed to see the taillights of the 18-wheeler waiting at the red light. Investigators are continuing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
