Cha-am police arrest four women for drug use at Thai pool villa

Police arrested four women suspected of drug use at a pool villa following a tip-off from a concerned resident iIn Phetchaburi’s Cha-am district. The suspects tested positive for drug use, resulting in legal action.

Police from Cha-am Police Station received a report today, March 11, about a group allegedly using drugs at a residence in the Tri Pool Villa area, located in Mueang Cha-am, Phetchaburi province.

Responding promptly, the team, which included Police Colonel Aphirak Permchai, Deputy Superintendent of Investigation, Police Colonel Theerapong Raksawiang, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Aphichat Phothia, planned the operation and proceeded to the location.

Upon arrival, officers encountered people outside the premises and checked inside. They discovered four women in a room exhibiting suspicious behaviour.

When questioned, the suspects admitted to using ketamine. During a search, police found ketamine on an ironing board in the room.

The four women, identified as Deer from Samut Prakan and Thipawan, both confessed to owning and consuming the drug before the police intervention. The other two women also tested positive for drugs, reported KhaoSod.

The police collected evidence and transferred the four suspects, along with the confiscated drugs, to investigators for further legal processing. Meanwhile, the urine tests conducted on several other people present at the gathering returned negative results for drug use, leading to their release.

In similar news, a concerned stepmother in Udon Thani reached out to a local activist, fearing her husband was exposing their 12 year old son to drugs. Police launched an investigation but initially lost contact with the family.

Eventually, they located the boy in Khon Kaen, where he was preparing to become a novice monk. He later admitted to using drugs with his father.

Activist Kan Jompalang was contacted by 46 year old Jib, the stepmother, who expressed concerns about her husband, 40 year old Suthiphong, the boy’s biological father. Suthiphong, a former rescue worker in Udon Thani, had a history of severe drug use and was accused of abusing his son.
