7 new Thai Covid-19 cases in quarantine, all asymptomatic
7 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in Thai quarantine facilities and were all asymptomatic cases from Thais returning home from overseas, according to the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration. Thailand’s total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases is now at 3,743 with 3,543 recoveries and 59 deaths. 141 people are currently receiving medical treatment for the coronavirus.
- A 67 year old Thai man travelling from Bahrain tested positive for Covid-19 while in a Chon Buri state quarantine facility. He arrived on October 18 and tested positive 4 days later.
- A 49 year old Thai man travelling from Austria tested positive for Covid-19 while in a Bangkok state quarantine hotel. He arrived to Thailand on October 18 and tested positive for the virus 4 days later.
- A 25 year old Thai student travelling from Jordan tested positive for Covid-19 while in a Chon Buri state quarantine facility. He arrived on October 21 and tested positive 3 days later.
- A 40 year old Thai woman travelling from Qatar tested positive for Covid-19 while at a Chon Buri state quarantine facility. She arrived on October 21 and tested positive for the virus 3 days later.
- A 39 year old Thai woman travelling from Iraq tested positive while in a Bangkok state quarantine hotel. She arrived on October 21 and tested positive 3 days later.
- A 42 year old Thai woman travelling from Turkey tested positive while in a Chon Buri state quarantine facility. She arrived on October 21 and tested positive for the virus 3 days later.
- A 49 year old Thai man travelling from Kuwait tested positive for Covid-19 while in a Chon Buri state quarantine facility. He arrived on October 21 and tested positive 3 days later.
