On arrival, they encountered Chayut, a 34 year old motorcycle taxi driver, who had sustained minor puncture wounds to his leg and back. Although rescue workers administered first aid, Chayut declined further medical assistance at a hospital.

Nearby, police found 31 year old Natchachai, identified as a transgender woman, sitting calmly on the beach. When officers requested to search her for the weapon used in the attack, she insisted it was merely a pair of glasses.

Chayut recounted that as he waited for passengers, Natchachai approached him unexpectedly and tried to seize his phone. Failing to detach the phone from his motorcycle, she allegedly hurled an egg from a restaurant at his head, followed by an assault with a sharp object, inflicting his injuries.

Natchachai, on the other hand, described a different scenario, claiming she and Chayut were long-time acquaintances. According to her, Chayut had borrowed money from her and failed to repay it.

She confronted him about the debt, alleging that he frequently took photos of women and LGBTQ groups on the beach, which added fuel to the confrontation. This interaction escalated from verbal exchanges to a physical altercation.

Witnesses at the scene did not hear the initial argument but observed Natchachai walking across the beach to retrieve an egg from a nearby shop before throwing it at Chayut.

“She just walked up and threw an egg at him.”

As police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the altercation, both parties remain under scrutiny, with differing accounts contributing to the complexity of the case, reported The Pattaya News.
