Crowds of lottery enthusiasts flocked to Kham Chanod in Udon Thani to buy the lucky numbers 451 and 154, derived from incense sticks at the sacrificial table of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s son, Vacharaesorn Vivacharawongse, completely selling out the lottery stalls.

Today, October 16, reports from Kham Chanod Island, located in the Naga King’s realm of Wang Nakin, Ban Muang subdistrict, Ban Dung district, Udon Thani province, indicated a surge in visitors. With the long holiday period and the lottery draw imminent, the island saw an influx of tourists coming to pay respects to the spirits of Grandfather Srisuttho and Grandmother Sripatumma.

Tourists arriving at Kham Chanod no longer need to register for queue cards. They can directly enter the sacred grounds to pray at the main shrine. Following this, visitors often proceed to the giant fig tree to seek blessings and then move on to the sacred well. Despite signs prohibiting the tossing of coins into the sacred well, some tourists continue to flout these rules.

For lottery enthusiasts, missing out on numbers is not an option. Chamakan Kamwansa, the chief priest at the sacrificial grounds in front of Kham Chanod, mentioned that on October 10, Vacharaesorn visited to pay respects and seek blessings from Grandfather Srisuttho and Grandmother Sripatumma. The committee set up a sacrificial table for the prince, who, according to Chamakan, was very approachable and humble with everyone.
