A TikTok user issued a warning after an alcohol spray machine unexpectedly exploded in their home, leading to a fire. The incident occurred when the device was left plugged in for charging without any alcohol inside.

TikTok user @nppts.n yesterday, August 5, shared a clip showing the aftermath of the explosion. The video showed the device, after being plugged in overnight, suddenly burst into flames in the early morning hours.

“Almost a disaster, luckily the built-in was marble, and the housekeeper woke up early and saw it.”

The surveillance footage, taken at night, captured the dramatic event at the home of the poster’s friend. The camera, positioned in the living room, showed the alcohol spray machine, filled with disinfectant, plugged in at the right corner of the room.

Although the device didn’t contain any alcohol, a plume of smoke started to emerge, followed by a loud explosion and a subsequent fire around 6am. Fortunately, the housekeeper, who was awake at the time, noticed the fire and managed to extinguish it before it could spread and cause significant damage to the house.

This incident has raised concerns about the safety of leaving electronic devices plugged in for extended periods, especially overnight. The potential risks associated with such practices include overheating, short circuits, and, as demonstrated in this case, explosions and fires.

Many viewers commented on the video, expressing their relief that no one was harmed and that the fire was contained quickly. The post has since garnered significant attention, with users sharing their own experiences and cautionary tales about the possible dangers of electronic devices, reported KhaoSod.

In related news, a fierce fire engulfed a two-storey house in Ubon Ratchathani, destroying it completely and causing chaos as firefighters scrambled to control the blaze. The incident occurred on July 20 in a densely populated community.

Police officer Prawit Wacharin received a report about a fire at a two-storey residence on Sukha Upatham 3 Alley, Sukha Upatham Road, Nai Mueang subdistrict, Mueang Ubon Ratchathani district.
