A taxi driver in Bangkok has been arrested after allegedly intimidating and overcharging a South Korean tourist passenger.
The arrest from Tourist Police follows a user tagging the Tourist Police Bureau in a post in his Facebook post accusing a taxi driver of allegedly intimidating and overcharging the South Korean passenger using the taxi service from Siam Square to Rangsit in Pathum Thani (just north of Bangkok). The cabbie charged him 700 baht, almost double the estimated fare.
