More football legends take a swing at glory in Reignwood golf clash
Five more football legends have agreed to trade goals for birdies in the highly anticipated Reignwood Icons of Football tournament, teeing off early next month at Bangkok’s picturesque Robinswood Golf Course.
Former footy favourites Jimmy Bullard and Jermaine Jenas are two of the latest additions gearing up to represent Team England against a star-studded Team World, featuring global icons Carlos Tevez, Diego Forlán, and Ronald de Boer. A nail-biting matchplay showdown is on the cards, promising to be anything but a fairway to heaven.
Bullard, renowned for his cheeky charm, eye-catching goals and free-kicks, can’t wait to “putt” his skills to the test on the verdant greens.
“I’m buzzing to be part of the Reignwood Icons of Football in Bangkok. I played in the Icons Series for Westy (Lee Westwood) back in the day and can’t wait to get out there and represent Team England again.
“They’ve got an incredible team but so do we – it’s going to be an intense matchplay on an unbelievable track at Robinswood. Come on England!”
Dutch maestro Ronald de Boer, meanwhile, is equally thrilled to join Team World, ready to add a bit of ‘magic in the air’ on the golf course.

The two-day event promises unmatched entertainment with tense formats like Alternate Shots, Fourballs, and Singles. It’s set to beam across more than 80 countries, ensuring the whole world gets front-row seats to this titanic tussle.
Captained by Lee Westwood, Team England boasts a squad of greats including Paul Ince, Robbie Fowler, Joe Hart and Phil Jones. As for Team World, under Ryder Cup luminary Sergio Garcia, the line-up glitters with the likes of Dwight Yorke, Luís Figo, Ruud Gullit and David Ginola.
The Thai public is in for a sporting spectacle, with ticket sales soaring faster than an eagle on the back nine.

General Admission
- Day ticket: 650 baht (Saturday or Sunday)
- Weekend ticket: 1,100 baht
- Children under 16: Free entry with a paying adult (maximum two per adult ticket)
Hospitality Packages
- Day ticket: 15,000 baht
- Weekend ticket: 28,000 baht
- Under 16 hospitality tickets: 50% off, with a maximum of three per paying adult (proof of age may be required)
