VIDEO: Foreign driver causes horror crash in southern Thailand, 2 killed, 1 injured

Thai media reports that a “foreign man” – whose nationality is unknown – has been arrested after he pulled out into oncoming traffic and collided with a motorbike in Songkhla province, southern Thailand, yesterday afternoon. Two teenage girls died from their injuries and another teenage girl is seriously injured.

Yesterday at 2.34pm, a “foreign man” driving a Mitsubishi Pajero pulled out of a car park on Chalatat Road in Mueang district causing a serious crash. Rescue workers rushed to the scene but all three high school students were not breathing. All three teenagers, students at Maha Vajiravudh School, were transported to Mueang Songkhla Hospital.

Two of the students, 16 year old Pitchapa Bunrit and 16 year old Anusara Chaoawanasakul, died from their injuries. Another student, 16 year old Saophantaphon Srisuwan, survived but was rushed into the operating room. Her current condition is not known.

Eyewitnesses say they saw the Pajero pull out of a seaside carpark in front of the shooting range on Chalatat Road.
