Bungled tattoo turned woman from east Thailand into a freak

A Thai woman said she was left “speechless” after a visit to a tattoo parlour to paint her eyebrows left her with four permanent eyebrows.

Nipapron Meeking wanted to make her eyebrows more beautiful for a holiday she was planning with friends so visited a clinic in Rayong province, in eastern Thailand.

The 32 year old woman handed over 1,500 baht for the tattoos and lay down thinking she was in the hands of a skilled artist.

However, after the tattooist finished, Nipapron checked his work in the mirror and was horrified at what looked back at her: a woman she didn’t recognise sporting four eyebrows.

Nipapron immediately confronted the shop owner who promised to correct the bungling effort the following day. But when she went back to the shop it had closed.

“I remember planning a trip with my friends and wanting new eyebrows to look pretty. A friend suggested a shop for me. After the procedure, I looked in the mirror and was speechless.”

“Not long after what happened, the shop shut down and I don’t know where the owner is now. I had a terrible time living with four eyebrows on my forehead, but luckily I found this new tattoo artist.”

Nipapron revealed she had to live with four eyebrows for about a year until another cosmetic tattoo artist came to the rescue and corrected the horrific job for free.

The 32 year old tattoo artist Pattawee Phumkasem said…

“After seeing Nipaporn’s condition, I knew I had to help her. It normally costs 15,000 baht but I was happy to do it for free.”
