For children in Early Years (EY) through Year 6, the Winter Camp 2024 combines learning and play to keep their minds engaged during the holiday. Meanwhile, younger learners aged 0 to 3 years can join in the fun at the weekly Little Lion Playgroup. These programmes are open to all, both Ascot and non-Ascot students.

Date & Time: Monday to Friday, December 16 to 20, from 8.00am to 2.00pm

What’s your child up to this winter? If you’re wondering how to keep them entertained and productive during the holidays, the annual Winter Camp by Ascot International School Bangkok might be the answer you’re looking for. The camp provides educational programs for children both in and outdoors. Therefore, they’ll have a chance to stay active, make new friends, learn new knowledge, and even pick up a few new skills along the way.
Held between Monday, December 16 and Friday, December 20, Winter Camp 2024 is designed with age-appropriate activities in mind. The littlest campers will love the imaginative play, creative exploration, and moments spent bonding with their peers. These activities allow them to develop new skills while having fun.
On the other hand, the focus shifts to more interactive experiences like outdoor adventures and hands-on learning for the older campers. The goal is to encourage them to explore and connect with the world around them.
Some of the activities kids can look forward to include storytelling, water play, excursions, arts & crafts, music & dance, and experiments. The Winter Camp 2024 also features a Secret Santa event for extra festive cheer.
Special field trip for all campers
One of the highlights of the Winter Camp 2024 at Ascot International School Bangkok is the special field trip on Thursday, December 19.
EY to Year 2 students will head to Safari Garden Playground & Café, where they’ll meet friendly animals, explore nature, and enjoy a day of outdoor fun. This gives them an incredible opportunity to improve their social and motor skills through play and interaction.
Meanwhile, Year 3 to Year 6 students will visit James500 City Camp and City Farm for an immersive farm experience. They’ll participate in hands-on farming activities, team-building games, and outdoor explorations, all designed to encourage teamwork and a love for the natural world.
Little Lion Playgroup to give your little ones a head start
Date & Time: Every Friday, from 8.00am to 9.00am (during the school term)
Cost: THB 200 per child (150 THB for Ascot siblings). The price includes light refreshments.
