Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, the iconic Luxury Collection Hotel in the heart of Bangkok, is inviting couples who love modern Italian cuisine to discover its exclusive Chef’s Degustation Menu at Rossini’s, the award-winning ristorante which has been included in the Michelin Guide for five consecutive years from 2017 to 2022.

Sicilian-born Executive Chef Gaetano Palumbo, a certified Master Italian Chef from the acclaimed Accademia Barilla, has crafted a fantastic four-course couple’s menu that showcases the finest local, seasonal and imported ingredients, cooked to perfection and presented in a romantic setting at Rossini’s, which is designed to resemble a Tuscan villa.

The Chef’s Degustation Menu includes two enticing antipasto appetizers: Asparagi Verdi, Fontina con Alette di Pollo (golden leaf on poached egg, black truffle, chicken wing, green asparagus and fontina cheese) and Polipo alla Griglia (grilled octopus, potato sauce and green sauce). Couples can then take their pick from a pair of perfect pasta dishes: Orecchiette al Ragout Pugliese (orecchiette pasta with Apulian ragout, broccoli and pecorino cheese) or Risotto al Burro di Alghe (carnaroli rice with rock lobster seaweed butter and porcini mushrooms).

These will be followed by two highly original main courses from land and sea: Medaglione d’Sgnello e Scampi (lamb loin, langoustine tail, white asparagus purée, orange and coffee) or Merluzzo Nero e Crema di Broccoletti (toothfish with broccoletti sauce, beer essence, corn and popcorn). This fulfilling feast concludes with a choice of two innovative desserts: Parmigiano con Gelato di Asparagi Bianchi (white asparagus ice cream with parmesan cheese and rhubarb) or L’Arancio Sorbetto (orange sorbet and mousse with salty peanut sauce).
