Porsche Asia Pacific is celebrating 30 years of its high-performance sports car in Thailand with a new multi-coloured bespoke Porsche 911 Carrera GTS in honour of the importance of colours in the kingdom.

The German luxury car was first introduced to the Thai market in 2002 with the establishment of Porsche (Thailand) Limited, a subsidiary of Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Since then, the company has been offering its range of sports cars and SUVs to customers in Thailand.

Thailand is a special place for Porsche, and Bangkok has become the home to the largest Porsche gathering in Southeast Asia, called Das Treffen – which means “The Meeting” in German. During the event, every generation of Porsche cars, as well as a diverse community of fans of all ages, come together to celebrate their love for the brand. The seventh edition of the gathering was held in January, and it kicked off the year of celebrations, reported the Porsche newsroom.

To honour the anniversary, Porsche Asia Pacific launched a campaign that celebrates Thailand’s unique culture and the significance of colours in Thai life.
