4 new Covid-19 cases in quarantine, 1 new case detected at Myanmar border

4 new Covid-19 cases were detected in quarantine and 1 new case was detected at a Myanmar border checkpoint, according to Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration. The total number of confirmed Covid-19 is raised to 3,810 cases with 3,623 recoveries and 59 deaths. 128 people are currently receiving medical treatment for the coronavirus.

  • A 73 year old Thai woman travelling from Germany tested positive for Covid-19. She arrived on October 31 and tested positive 2 days later while at a quarantine hotel in Bangkok. She reported symptoms of a fever, muscle ache, diarrhoea and a loss of smell.
  • A foreign couple, ages 59 and 46, travelling from France, with a layover in Qatar, tested positive for Covid-19. They arrived on October 29 and tested positive 5 days later while at a quarantine hotel in Nonthaburi.
  • A 53 year old Dutchman tested positive for Covid-19. He arrived on October 31 and tested positive 3 days later while at a Samut Prakan quarantine hotel.
  • A 27 year old Myanmar truck driver tested positive for Covid-19 at a border checkpoint on October 31. He was then deported to Myanmar.
