A viral video of a Chinese couple has become the talk of social media, as the bride’s casual demeanour post-wedding ceremony raised eyebrows. The video, believed to have been taken in Guizhou City, sparked widespread debate on social media about the appropriateness of the bride’s behaviour.

After completing their wedding ceremony and bidding farewell to friends and relatives, the couple was seen heading towards their bridal suite in a car. Once out of the public eye, the beautiful bride relaxed to her utmost comfort, removing her shoes, sitting cross-legged with her feet on the seat, and immersing herself in a mobile game, seemingly oblivious to her husband’s apparent displeasure, reported Sohu.

The video has since been shared on Chinese social media platforms, igniting a flurry of comments and criticisms. Some netizens empathised with the bride, arguing that wedding days can be stressful, and the couple had to maintain their image and appearance at all times. Therefore, it’s understandable if she wanted to let loose once they were in private.

However, on the flip side, others opined that the bride’s behaviour was a bit too extreme and showed a lack of respect towards her husband. These views have led many to sympathise with the groom and question whether their love life will remain smooth after this incident.
