Officers found 602 meth pills and 2.8 grammes of crystal meth (Ice) in her possession. She now faces charges of possessing Category 1 narcotics with intent to sell—a serious offence with implications for public distribution.

Following her arrest, police zeroed in on her alleged supplier, 39 year old Sunantha Thaiutsa from Bangkok.

A raid on her nearby unit uncovered a staggering 25,862 meth pills and 119.4 grammes of Ice, leading to charges of drug distribution—an offence considered a threat to national security and public safety.

Both suspects were taken to Thalang Police Station for further questioning. Police Colonel Akanit Danpitaksart, Deputy Commander of Phuket Provincial Police, revealed that Prathana confessed to purchasing drugs from Sunantha, prompting police to dig deeper.

Investigators now suspect the pair were part of a larger drug network. Sunantha allegedly admitted to sourcing narcotics from Bangkok, storing them in her rental unit, and selling them across Phuket, reported The Phuket News.
